Cooperativa RAOS in Marcala, Honduras began producing coffee in 2015. This cooperative focuses on marketing its women members' coffee due to 60 percent of the women facing gender-based legal issues with regards to the ownership of their land, as well as limitations to the credit they can receive to finance the harvest every year. They support women through program premiums and educational support programs, including gender assemblies to discuss women's needs and promote equity. Their mission statement emphasizes equal access and decision-making rights for both genders, supported by training farms and integrated farm-management programs. 

This washed bourbon provides a smooth profile with notes of praline and fresh citrus. The mild acidity and light body provide a great cup of coffee.
